Election Day is not a holiday. Maybe it should be, to encourage participation. But it's not. Not most places.

None of these are reality shows. They are competitions.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote: 500 - What sport is the subject of Abbott and Costello's classic comedy routine "Who's on First"?
I had to restrain myself from using two question marks on this question:

"Who's on First?"?

It is to chuckle.

16K B the poor
Is it just me, but I've never heard of this term. I might have gotten it by a process of elimination, but it seems very tough for a 16K question.

My study of New Testament Greek would have paid off here - ptochos is the word used in Luke 4 where Jesus, quoting from Isaiah, says that he has come to preach good news to the poor (ptochoi).

Too bad Roland didn't take that "leap of faith".

Nihil obstat® again.

It's not something you're likely to come across. It's one of those WWOQs designed to get the contestant to burn up all the lifelines before reaching the third tier.

C Dancing With the Stars
D Project Runway
If you're around Naomi Campbell, D could be acceptable... :P

Chalk up another nihil obstat® for me.

8K: I didn't supposed it was Jillette, though he hosted something recently, & thought Blaine was more a "specials" kind of guy, but I really no nothing about this, & have never heard of the other 2. ATA

16K: I have no idea. I do not know this word. I can eliminate the 3 wrong answers, though, because even though I can't think of all their words, I know this is not one of them. Brrrr.

otherwise good
