Freudian Socks

I've recently decided that I need to learn how to knit socks. I've also decided that I need to learn to knit them toe up, I need to learn how to knit two of them at once and I need to learn how to knit them on two different needles at the same time.

And I need to learn how to do it all at once. Ha!

I want to make a first run practice pair before I commit to using my 'good' yarn and to use two different colours in order to keep them straight, so I rummage about to see what's in my old acrylic leftovers that looks to be enough to make an entire sock. I've got some yarn from some NUGGETS!!!!11 projects that I've made, and I've got some more left over from an afghan I made for my niece.

It isn't until I get all the increases done, the toes finished and I'm working on the feet that I gather up everything and I realize............

I'm almost to the heels now, so it would be a tube top bikini (emphasis on the tube, ha!). Do the Laker Girls have a Senior Citizen Division?

I actually put them on when I finished them and damn, I took out the trash about 1 am Monday morning and didn't even feel the cold concrete going down the driveway and back. Those petroleums must stay nice and warm there out in the wild......
