But...you asked TPTB if you could tell your friends that you were going to tape an episode and They. Said. No.

From the good old days when we celebrated the entire tension-filled process, from being OTC after a successful Phone Game or from going through an audition, to getting The Call and lining up PAFs, to rooting for contestants during their taping day, perhaps with some brief, non-spoilerish updates from the PAF team getting on deck and stand down calls, now we're down to "tune in and find out" after a contestant has already taped. Way to kill the excitement, TPTB.

And, for the record, the Bored was always good about not discussing game play. It's not like we're guilty of violating their rules.

I auditioned in the first group of the morning in L.A. I passed both tests (which was a complete fluke since I'm not a movie buff). I found this bored through "Ulysses" after I posted my happy card on Facebook. I met "Ulysses" while going thought the audition process for Million Dollar Mind Game and joined him and his team for pub trivia night a few times in Santa Ana.

The bored has been very insightful.

Cool! I got roped into a MDMG audition by a friend who knew I'd been on Jeopardy! and ended up having a great time -- we were the computer nerds, natch. I didn't hear back but I certainly won't complain.

Yes, that's right, I did get a video audition.

I taped on September 28. Apparently because it was a rough tape date for the contestants, those shows got broken up into three parts (11/17, 11/25 and 12/7-9).
