Nobel Prize

#1 Post by Shade » Mon Oct 15, 2007 4:43 pm

If you could award the Nobel Peace (or others) to anyone you wanted who or what would it go to.

For me, Peace Prize: Save Darfur Coalition, African Union Mission in Sudan

(PS: isn't Bored supposed to be spelled Board)

Where to start! :D

Actually the Bored Historian and others will know who first coined the spelling.

But this is always The Bored to me.

I don't think the word Jipter has even come up yet. We do tend to have our own vocabulary.

It was a misspelling that stuck, also. Like some others you will see: taping my watch (instead of tapping), dint (=didn't), and some others.

I wonder why we haven't seen "morngin" (or "mornign") yet. Or "toffee and chreds."

We are forgetting our favorite one... Sprots!

As for Bored, it wasn't a misspelling, but a pun as flock alluded to.

We go off on tangents about the Bored and completely ignore the question.

Yup, we're back!
