I suppose the encyclopedia didn't have all that (recent) pop-culture stuff, but still.

Wow, just wow.

Memo to uly: Now that your avatar has been found, it might be in good taste to change it again, so that it doesn't appear in Spilly's thread. :(

Is this the first ironing board contestant to fail to answer a single question on her/his own?

And on top of that she decides to hand $14K of the audience's gift to her back to the show?

Aack, and double Aack!

I recall someone doing the same but the audience question was $25K and that person walked with $12.5K.

No, we're had several llamas and at least one other who used all three LLs on the first three Qs then walked.

A llama is a contestant who misses the first question of the game. The name comes from the first contestant from the primetime days to do so, Robby Roseman, whose question had the correct answer of llamas.

Actually, that was the answer he gave for the animal Hannibal used to assist his invasion of Rome. --Bob

IIRC, I was pulling a "Uly" and had a llama avatar in response to Bob J's, as there was a debate as to whether to call it a llama anymore since they now get $1000 instead of zip.
If so, the post would not make as much sense weeks later with my avatar changed.
