My granddaughters love the music from Oklahoma. Guess she's not into musicals. I guess I'm too fond of Rodgers & Hammerstein to give her much sympathy.

I could tell she wasn't gonna know this answer and the 50/50 wouldn't be much help if you have no clue in the first place.

Once she said she didn't know the show or song, I knew she would go for buggy. Who the heck nowdays knows what a surrey is, except from that song?

2K D surrey
The surrey with the fringe on top was one of the questions they asked during the mock Jeopardy game I played during my Nashville audition. I was the one who got it right too.

What a shame - she did have something to lose - her PaF LL.

Too bad.

No, she won't lose very much, but she does give up the chance to go on if she's wrong. She could have used her PAF.

Never heard of Nippon, Rachel?

Why do contestants use the 50/50 first on questions they have no clue on?

And, in this case, Meredith might have reminded her that she still had her PAF. My hunch was that Rachel would guess buggy because she's never heard of a surrey and I was right.

I presume she was relatively young. Even if she was this was still a pretty weak performance amongst many to have come before and no doubt many to follow.

But I am sure she was "good TV"...
