NYC Auditions Are up!
They just posted audition info for auditions in NYC starting May 23rd. I requested May 23rd with the 24th as backup.

Good luck.

What's NYC, and why are you auditioning for it? Is NYC the official game show of WE/WE's?

The online page says if you auditioned before Jun 2009, you need to re-up.
Are they strict about the cutoff? I got selected via the video process in Aug-Sep 2009. If I decide I want to try again, should I sign up?

I don't see where they're gonna nail you for two months for an audition. From what I heard Jeopardy was pretty loose on when you could and couldn't re audition if the difference was a month or so.Jeemie wrote:The online page says if you auditioned before Jun 2009, you need to re-up.

Re: NYC Auditions Are up!
The Official Rules were revised on Thursday, but I don't see any changes, with one possible exception. The rules mention the possibility of attaching non-cash prizes to certain questions. Contestants who win a non-cash prize get to keep it even if they later miss a question and lose their bank. I don't remember that provision from last year. --Bob

That one I could've sworn I've seen before about the non-cash prizes (which would be good to try and get some advertising plugs). I don't know what's changed from skimming through it unless they changed a few formality words.Bob78164 wrote:The Official Rules were revised on Thursday, but I don't see any changes, with one possible exception. They had that last year. Maybe it refers to the contestants winning the Wii game, even if they miss their $1,000 question? Or maybe the Brides.com weeks, when they've given stuff like Motorized Scooters away or something? Not sure--goongas wrote:The Official Rules were revised on Thursday, but I don't see any changes, with one possible exception.
