My birthday luck

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Fri May 27, 2011 4:45 am

was about a week late LOL

At lunch I bough a couple of scratch off lottery tickets, investment $6.00

Winnings - $100.00

Decided, since tomorrow is my loo/lew/lieu day, to take the 94.00 profit, and went with a friend to the casino.

Hit a jackpot on a penny machine for $720.00

Then, after that was paid out, I went to another machine, and got another $200.00.

My savings account will be happy

Any chance you can hop over the border and buy a few Powerball tickets for me?

Couldn't happen to a more deserving person!

Treat yourself to some small splurge that make you happy when you look at it.

When I was in Lancaster PA I had a very hard time deciding whether or not I should splurge $60 on a gorgeous Amish bird feeder. A white gazebo with a copper roof.

Bought it, put it in the garden so I see it every day.

Makes me smile.

Well worth $60.

Cleo only hates you! She was pretty good to me. She gave me back all the money I put in her, so I quit before I was behind. Almost as good as quitting while you're ahead. :P

Yeah, well if Cleo keeps it up, I'm going to give more of my money to the Wicked Winnings lady. At least she doesn't taunt me while she's robbing me blind.... :P :P :P

I don't think I've seen that one, and though I tend to avoid the fancier, brighter, more complicated newer games, I do still scope them out as I'm walking off a loss...

I remember how hi-tech Cleo looked when I first saw her in 2003. She's stands out like an 8 track player at Best Buy now....

I hate games with long, drawn out bonus rounds that basically involve just watching the screen (Free-spin bonuses excluded). At least give me something to choose to keep me involved in the game. I'd rather just have my bonus point total right away rather than have to wait for two dueling pickles to play guitars for an audience of dumbasses....

There's also Dice, World Tour, Drum Solo, Mad Scientist--lots of different types of bonuses! I just loved the Slash Hat on the...plum? Whatever he is. Random weirdness is my thing, you know...

Wouldn't that be an Amish-bird feeder? --Bob

FTR, I knew from the name of the game they were olives. Then I was trying to think of a non-olive word to use in my post. I honestly have no idea where an olive falls in the food categories, so I just used the condescending term pickle. If the silly looking olive was offended by that, then my point got across....

I don't believe so. Had she said "Amish-made bird feeder," the hyphen would be needed.
