Tough stack for me. Starting at 8K I was guessing. I managed to guess right until 25K where I had no clue. Sounds like they made good use of google though.
Another successful guess at 50K and then no clue after that. Not sure I would have made it to 25K on my own with any lifelines left so I might have been making a blind guess at 25K depending on how confident I would have been with my guesses in the pressure of the hot seat.
But I think I probably would have guessed even if it was 1 in 4. At least I have always told myself I would. I may go down in flames but I wasn't going to take the money and run away.

I was ready to put down this double WE/WE® couple, but instead I thought they were likable, and smart players too.

$25K: Never heard of this word. PAF here.
$50K: A rehash of a $25K question asked only two years ago on this show. Houston, TX.
$100K: Don't even wanna touch this question. Smart switch.
$100K #2: Ohio doesn't have its website on their plates. Having once lived in Pennsylvania, I know that they do. However, I don't know if they were the first. Burn the 50:50.

Again, no idea, and since 50/50 won't help, time to PAF. Turns out that the term comes from a palace once a residence of Henry VIII that later became a poorhouse and prison.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25000

I tend to make this transposition all the time, too. I think that's why TPTB decided to simply things and call it "Wedding Week" this season.BBTranscriptTeam wrote:Transcript 2/5/2008

I'm surprised they never tried naming particular cities during this deliberation. They just stuck to the generalities, "I can't believe it's Pennsylvania."BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$50000
