Jam Up by Tommy Ridgely
Just came on my iPod. early R & B from Atlantic Records. Takes me back to my radio days...I used it as the theme song for my oldies request show. Boy, it pops! Haven't heard it in a while. Good stuff.

Great minds think alike, T-Bone!
I just downloaded Jam Up and Jim Dandy (Laverne Baker) from the Atlantic Records Story via Rhapsody.
I love Jam Up. Every so often, I'll go out dancing with friends from grade school. There's a local dj who plays oldies for line dancing and Jam Up will always be included.

Wow, great stuff! I thought I was pretty well versed in New Orleans music, but I know very little about Tommy Ridgley. I'd like to hear more of his music. Here's a 78 RPM version of Jam Up.
