TEN! Day TEN! - August 26, 2011

#1 Post by Vandal » Fri Aug 26, 2011 6:01 am

TEN! Day TEN! - August 26, 2011

TEN! holidays you should know.

Note: Thanks to LB for contributing today's challenge

There are 365 in a year, well, 3/4 of the time there is. And while your workplace may only recognize a handful of official holidays, in reality not a day goes by that something isn't celebrated.

Below are TEN! much less well known annual observances that commemorate a variety of different people, things, or just plain silliness. For each special day, name the month it is celebrated in each year. No month will be used more than once (Hint: Two months will not be used at all). Some of these days can't seem to make up their mind if they're "National", "International", or neither.... so I list them here by the most common name I found them as in my research....

I have also included an apropos ES avatar from the past for each entry to enhance your visual enjoyment of today's game. Woohoo!!!!1
