I've never heard of this. Googling shows that it's a pair of chopsticks joined at one end with a fork. I eat a lot of Asian food and I've never been in a restaurant that has these.

I can't believe I didn't know this. Some of us used to play cards or board games over at a friend's house on Saturday nights after the kids were asleep, and they always had The Love Boat on while we were playing Hearts or Clue, maybe Spades or Uno. Or maybe I was paying closer attention to my cards than to the Love Boat.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

The third use is to split them in half and use as regular chopsticks:

The are either already at, or coming soon to, Panda Express. That's a pretty good catch for a new company with a new device.
