This is why I made sure I re-read the question even after listening to Meredith reading it. On a question like that, while you're thinking about it, it's not difficult to lose sight of what the question wants. Tough break but ya gotsta pay attention.

I hate "which one is not" questions. That's my biggest fear -- that if by some miracle I get on the show, I'll misread a question.

Assuming I read the question correctly, I really woulda made the audience suffer through this one: OK, ado is Colorado. Ire . . . ire . . . OK, come back to that one. Are . . . air, air -- What did Delaware!? Delaware. OK, Ire -- Idaho, Nevada, California, Dakotas, Carolinas, Georgia, back to the northeast, Pennsylvania, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire! B, final answer!

I don't know why you keep saying that - being Kati Knudsen and spending an hour bouncing from hunch to hunch is making the audience suffer. Spending 90 seconds reasoning the choices out logically is smart gameplay and good TV!

Mostly because when I start with that sort of thing in person, it drives my friends crazy. They say stuff like, "Get to the point, already!" I concede that game show audiences are a lot different from what I'm imagining and will quit saying it.

Maybe mom should have let Erin read children's books.

Since Chad and I have been disagreeing a lot about the show lately, I'll say that I totally agree with him about this.

Appears a little more training with that map would have been useful! That and reading the question a bit more carefully...

"Thor" certainly seems a bit uncommon unless the father is from Norway. Not sure it is likely to be all that common even in Norway anymore!
