Amy Boersma
East Lansing, MI
professional solitaire player

Amy is really excited to be on the show. Meredith didn't know that it was possible to make a living playing solitaire. Amy can solve the games faster than most people. She gets to sit at home in her pajamas and play a game that she loves. She used to compete with her dad on Windows solitaire, racing to see who could get the highest score. She began beating him all the time and she realized she was pretty good. Her fastest time is 19 seconds in Windows solitaire. Meredith hopes that her time on the show will last a little longer than that.

History AND Geography. A deadly combination...

I guess there isn't much need for either for a professional solitaire player. WTF is that anyway?

I didn't know there were professional solitaire players and I still don't believe it. Okay, maybe there's a sponsor for an occasional tournament, but to be paid while playing the game at home??? Citations, please.
