East Norriton is the very township where I lived from third grade until I left for college. It borders Melly's current locale.

I think the reference to golden weapons may have made this question a bit easier than the Prime Time question. Although I will admit that any reference to paradise should immediately bring the correct answer to mind. --Bob

Most questions are easier when you've heard them before. Alaska seemed like the least likely choice. Maybe the guy was thinking of Sarah Palin as a female warrior.

How is that reference a clue?

The Golden State?

I'm sure that nickname has nothing to do with that excitement back in '49.

I think the reference to golden weapons could conceivably jog your memory if you happen to have run across the California state seal:

I'm at my office in Blue Bell PA. It is walking distance from my current locale. :)

I think you and Bob are stretching too much to make that a clue. That's not supposed to be an Amazon queen in the seal, that's Minerva.

I didn't realize that. It's still what I thought of when the questioned mentioned female warriors with golden weapons. I don't know if I would have made the connection if I didn't already know the answer, though.

It seems like this Wikipedia entry may make a handy study list. --Bob
