I've gotten both those questions on Facebook Millionaire.

East Norriton is the very township where I lived from third grade until I left for college. It borders Melly's current locale.
I think the reference to golden weapons may have made this question a bit easier than the Prime Time question. Although I will admit that any reference to paradise should immediately bring the correct answer to mind.

Most questions are easier when you've heard them before. Alaska seemed like the least likely choice. Maybe the guy was thinking of Sarah Palin as a female warrior.

How is that reference a clue?
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

The Golden State?
I'm sure that nickname has
nothing to do with that excitement back in '49.

I think the reference to golden weapons could conceivably jog your memory if you happen to have run across the California state seal:

I think you and Bob are stretching too much to make that a clue. That's not supposed to be an Amazon queen in the
seal, that's Minerva.

I didn't realize that. It's still what I thought of when the questioned mentioned female warriors with golden weapons. I don't know if I would have made the connection if I didn't already know the answer, though.

It seems like
this Wikipedia entry may make a handy study list. --Bob
