Flush toilets were a distractor for me. From what I've read, base camp can get crowded during climbing season and the sanitary conditions get pretty disgusting. I suppose it would take more infrastructure to support that toilet, like a septic system to drain into, than it would to get WiFi hooked up to a satellite uplink. And lots of climbing teams do like to blog about their adventures, these days.

Sharon is a Club Millionaire sweepstakes winner. She always wanted to audition for the show, but it would have cost a lot of money to travel to New York for that. Now, she's here on Millionaire's dime.

I'm glad that Sharon got the opportunity but I worry about how she'll do because the test, for better or worse, screens out those that may not do well on the show. It's no great predictor (we've seen passers who turned out to be duds on the show) but it's something.
