I was already gone, and I don't know this one either.

Huh. That makes sense as it's the first consonant on the letter frequency chart for English: ETOANRISHDLF

Only linotype operators and codebreakers learn these, though. Well, and maybe good Wheel/hangman players.

I would have had to walk away at the $100K question from yesterday so I wouldn't have seen this one. From the comfort of my recliner I guessed the correct answer but I wouldn't even make an attempt.

Did you mean ETAOINSHRDLU? I've never seen the string you cited, but maybe it's more up-to-date than the one I learned.
