Griz Adams
Bear, DE

Meredith comments on the coincidence of "Griz" and "Bear". Griz says that that's not his real first name (it's Jim) but most people don't know that. He joined the Navy in the 1970s and went to boot camp with a full Afro and beard and his drill instructor gave him the name "Grizzly Adams". Meredith says it suits him.

I wish I could remember where I knew this from, but I am 100% confident of the answer.

Of course, I was confident about Russia the other day also... I know I've seen this somewhere. Snaxx probably posted it. :D

Great stack!

Alas, I haven't even seen it. Likely JTQ. Now I know about it. Gotta visit that city and the new Twins stadium soon (was there some time ago and saw the dome with the baggie outfield walls).
