Clearly. The first two wars happened long before that 1910 pistol was manufactured. WWII might conceivably be a distractor for some people, but who could come up with a logical explanation as to a pistol started it? Just defining the starting point for that world war is murky. Do we assume it's the invasion of Poland and ignore the several years that Japan had already been fighting in China? Or do we get America-centric and ignore everything before December 7, 1941?

I was thinking of New York's diverse religious population. Surely a fair percentage of them would have seen the symbol even if they weren't a member of one of those congregations.
