I think rather it's a recognition of the fact that there's a market for her services. Pastors are busy taking care of their congregants and don't always take the best care of themselves.

I bet your Mom or Elwing or anyone else who ever had to scrub off the rust rings from the ledges of the sink or the bathtub would have known.....

This is a silly question. Why would anybody be keeping a can of soup, tennis balls or coffee sitting around for long periods of time on a surface that was frequently wet? And aren't tennis balls and coffee cans usually plastic these days?

I forgot the name of it but that ladies' shaving cream that starts out gel and turns to foam always made a big deal about the bottom being plastic coated so you didn't get rust stains. Silkience, maybe? I'm not sure if they even make it anymore.
