Here's an article about Bradley's appearance, with an update about the baby.

His wife Maureen was 8 ½ months pregnant and could not attend the taping of the show in New York City. Bradley’s mother made the trip, however, and sat in the Millionaire audience as his on-air companion for the show. The couple just welcomed their first child in November, 2011 – a baby girl named Jeanne!

I might guess mahogany because it's used a lot in furniture, but I couldn't rule out rosewood. Since I still have all my lifelines, I'll use a JTQ here.
