I know it's not Colorado! I'm sure that Georgia and Alabama have hit 100 many times. Hawaii is known for its temperate climate, and I can easily see Alaska going below zero but never above 100. Alaska and Hawaii, final answer.

On the last question, I think choice A was spelled "whimsy." I no longer have the episode -- can someone confirm? --Bob

1. easy. Hasn't he heard of tomfoolery??

2. I knew this one. J! has done categories about cheese on occasion.

3. I guessed and got this one right. Up there, I might use ATA.

4. Definitely NOT Michigan-we had some 100* plus days last year! I figured Alaska would be one of them, but I was surprised about Hawaii.

5. I remember hearing about this, so I knew it.

6. NFC. I don't do jigsaw puzzles-I find them hard. I jump the question.
I'm just a game show nerd.

My grandfather and my mother were huge jigsaw puzzle fans and I can remember helping them work the really complicated ones. It was he who told me what these special pieces were called.
