The authorities have rounded up the usual suspects in the Great Broccoli Caper. Can you positively identify the culprit?

Don't worry, you can see them, but they can't see you.....

I'm sure Sprots will be along to fully explain this one shortly....

I told her we were overdue for another Sprots avatar, and I disappointed her. Oh well....

Too bad The Family Circus was never this clever with "Not Me" and "Ida Know"...

LOL! That is delightful!

I am not in the slightest bit disappointed.

It will win.

Bil Keane couldn't carry ES's paintbrush....

He can't do quirky and cute like ES can....

So, who will win the game of police lineup? They're waiting back in the booking room with the latex gloves.....

Oh yeah, where it came from.

My garden is separated from the next door neighbor's woodpile by a six-foot wood fence, and I think a squirrel has taken up residence in the woodpile. Last evening when I was hoeing, I noticed that two of my broccoli plants next to the fence were snicked off at the point where the stem starts to become broccoli. AARGH!

I mentioned this unsettling fact to LB in chat, and he took umbrage. How do you know it was a squirrel, he squeaked. I said, OK, it coulda been a skunk. And a new, delightful avatar was born.

I'm pretty sure it's not a raccoon. They leave broccoli and tomatoes alone around here...
