Ugh. Kennedy was the New Frontier, Clinton was the New Covenant, FDR was the New Deal. I don't remember reading about the New Freedom in the Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, or Bush campaigns. But is that enough to pull he trigger? Oh, heck, from the comfort of the Stratolounger, New Freedom, final answer.

Here are two articles about David's appearance.

“I’ve had to be quiet for eight months,” Klionsky said Wednesday. “It’s been a hard secret to keep. It’s bad enough with friends and family, but with little kids ... they’re constantly asking ‘Did you win a million dollars? Did you win? Did you win?!’”

On Wednesday, Seawell’s principal, Marny Ruben, and other school district employees gathered for a pizza party with Klionsky to watch his appearance on Millionaire.

“We thought it was a lot of fun,” Ruben said. “He did better than any of us would’ve done. It’s easy to sit in the audience and think about what you might know, but it’s nothing like being up there on stage.”

She has mixed feelings about the outcome, though.

“We were glad he got to go and we wanted him to win,” she said. “But I’m also glad we’ll still have a technology specialist this fall.”.
