Except her claim can't be proved, so it will never be official.

I don't want to live to be that old, thank you very much.

If you could be in the shape that most of these long-lived folks have been in before they died, why in hell not?

For me, every day I wake up on the top side of the grass is a good day.

Don't get me wrong. I don't want to die too soon. I'd like to see my kids grow up, graduate college, get married, have some kids. I'd like to see some more of the World.

But once the body quits working, at some point you will stop enjoying that next day. Then its time to go.

If you are a believer, there's a better place.
If you aren't, why does it matter?

If Jerry Sandusky lives to be 128 he will have served all of his 30 to 60 year sentence
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Because every day counts when it's not just a trial run.
