I'm so glad that I still have the ability to get excited when someone takes chances and does well! I wish it happened more often, makes it feel almost like the show I fell in love with.

I guessed the $100k, $250K and $500k correctly from my couch - not sure how I would've played it for real. Congrats to Andrew!

Best stack for me I've seen on the show in three years. I 'd have both jumps left after Round 1. I knew Romney's code name, but I think I saw the story within the last few days so I probably wouldn't have known it on tape day. I'm definitely jumping the Broadway question, and I knew the black hole question without needing any choices (you just need to know which constellation has the core of the Milky Way). So I'd have had a clear shot at the million-dollar question on this one, and I don't remember being confident that was true since they changed formats. --Bob

Nice run!

O'Neill's last words, supposedly, were "I knew it. I knew it. Born in a hotel room - and God damn it - died in a hotel room."

The giant black hole at th galaxy center is known as Sagittarious A*. I like Orion as a distractor since I believe it's directly opposite from Sagittarius in the night sky.

Impressive run, indeed! Andrew had much more courage, and knowledge, answering the questions than any contestant from recent memory. Well done, sir.

vettech: You hit the nail on the head with your "fell in love with" comment. This stack brought back great memories of the good ol' days of "Millionaire", as opposed to the past several years. [Sigh]

OK, I don't know if this was an easier than usual stack but I've used no lifelines yet.

What did Mitt Romney reportedly choose as his Secret Service codename?

A: Javelin

JTQ
Answer
A: Javelin
Because of his association with the Olympics I'd have thought "Javelin" the likely answer but at this level I wouldn't have wanted to take the risk so I'd have used a JTQ also. Funny, I always thought it was the Secret Service that chose the names.

No idea, so I'll ATA, since this is a New York audience. FWIW elwing had a hunch that O'Neill was the right answer.

Wheelhouse!!! I knew this one before the answers were revealed. So I'd be looking at the $1 million question with a lifeline still available (ATA).
