Royal Gorge photos

#1 Post by Bob Juch » Sun Oct 21, 2007 4:36 pm

I've uploaded all the photos - good and bad - of my trip to Royal Gorge last weekend with my granddaughter Brittany, her husband Sunshine and my great-grandson, Lance.

Nice photos. A very pretty girl with a pretty baby (it's OK to call boy babies pretty while they're little...). Do people really drive over that bridge? I'm not sure if I could.

Yes, people really drive over the bridge

I'm pretty sure I couldn't. Cute baby!

How old is the baby?

Sunshine as a guy's name?

So Lance (great grandson) does not belong to Brittany (daughter) ? If you had not noted their relationship to you, I would have thought that they were a family.

The baby is five months old. Brittany is my granddaughter and Lance is her son.

One guess as to what Sunshine's parents were.

OK. That makes sense. Your first post says that Brittany is your daughter, and I thought that she looked pretty young (not that you are too old. ).

Aside from the daughter/granddaughter typo...does someone who shares a lot of his own family news read the family news from other BBs?*

Seems only fair. :)

*Bob has talked about this situation before. His granddaughter is young to be married and a parent, no doubt about it.

Since I will be over 60 when my little girl is in her early 20s, so it being her daughter really was not that unfeasible.

I do read family news, and can recall some things that Bob has posted, but he has posted a great deal about one daughter (that I really only have skimmed) and I did not know if there was another daughter (or two).

Nope, just one daughter, two granddaughters, and one and 2/3 great-grandchildren.

LOL! I love the " one and 2/3 great-grandchildren."

We had to provide a biogrpahy to our new District Engineer after he arrived, and I put that I had the prototypical American family of 2.5 kids.

I have had to update it since that time.
