Dave talks to Tyler, who is in the audience with his mother and little sister.

Dave: Now how's dad doing? I heard the one thing that you were concerned about was that dad was going to make you look silly. How's he doing?

Tyler: Fine. For now.

Dave: That's overwhelming support, there! Any advice before dad starts up again?

Not sure I would've made the guess w/o lifelines, but I would've guessed almond because of the old-time mystery connection. I know that peach pits, properly processed, can yield cyanide poison, which has the smell of ... all together Agatha Christie fans ... bitter almonds!

I figured he wouldn't last long after using all of his lifelines yesterday. This one I knew because I seem to recall that both almonds and peach pits contain cyanide.
