Hello, Everyone!
I am new to this group and thought I would share my audition experience.
I love in Sacramento, CA and chose to fly into Las Vegas just to audition for the show. I went into the audition more nervous about the interview portion than the test, but while taking the test I got nervous. There were a few questions I had no idea what the answer was so I guessed. While they were calling the numbers of the contestants who passed I thought I for sure did not pass. The called over 25 people before I heard my number announced. I was the 3rd from last person called. I was truly surprised and showed my excitement. It would have sucked to fly in and not even pass. They had all the people who passed come back about 4 hours later for the interviews. While waiting for them to call me for my interview I was seriously thinking that maybe they actually hadn't called my number and that I just convinced myself that they did. But after just a few minutes they called my name. I walk back and sit down for my interview and it goes really well. I made her laugh and she was smiling the whole time. She asked me what I would say to Cedric if I met him. I old her that I would say that her looks so much better in a fedora than I do. My wife is always trying to get me to wear them but I think I look horrible in them. She also asked me what would make me a unique contestant so I told her about me owning my own photo booth rental company. She really liked that. We talked about some cool and fun things that I have seen and experienced while running the photo booth at parties. She told me that she would like me to go over the another area for a 2nd taped interview! So I went to the waiting area and waited to be called again. After he called me in and asked me to state my name and where I live into the camera he asked me some trivia questions. Although, I did not answer as many questions correctly as I would have liked (it was hard to remember the choice he gave, think of the right answer, and think of something interesting to say about it), but I don't think getting them all right is the point at this stage. From what I heard from other people who got to this point he asked me a lot of questions compared to most. He asked me about 8 trivia questions (I would like to think that's a good thing). He then asked me how I would react if I won $100,000. Without hesitation I jumped up, pumped my fist in the air, yelled, and then gave the producer a high five. Overall I think it went very well. I am still waiting for my happy card so hopefully it will come soon.

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster.
I tried out at the Dallas auditions on July 8, passed the test, and then went on to receive a videotaped interview. However, I still have not heard back from WWTBAM one way or another. And now it appears that Las Vegas folks are getting their happy cards. Does anyone have any recommendations on recourse on my part? Thanks!
