Holy schnikies! I got the call!

It's not very clear-cut though. I'm scheduled for Wednesday 11/6, the last taping day of the season. That means that I could possibly not actually play if time runs out, in which case I get bupkis and go back in the pool for next season, which doesn't start taping until summer 2014.

I appreciate the opportunity immensely to be sure, but how about that extra slice of tension, eh?

We knew the risks going in for the last day, and the producers and staff made no promises. So we vowed to come back next year and Mug The Mouse!

I don't suppose anyone promised you that you'd be called again, next season? Because we've had a BB in this situation before (left in the Green Room during one of the special tapings at WWTBAM Play It! in WDW). He never did get The Call, again.

Considering that so many contestants come from Where Else, it's disappointing that TPTB called contestants to make the trip in from out of state for the final taping days of the season, when they'd end up being stranded. But I can't say I'm shocked.

They promised nothing in terms of a callback, but I was told on several occasions that I would remain in the contestant pool through June 2015, so I'm in the hat for next season at least. I guess we'll see what happens. If I had to re-audition for the 2015 season, I don't think I'd have any problems getting back in the pool; the test isn't particularly hard, especially with 10 minutes to do it, and I'm a performer, so I can do the shiny happy thing.

I'm willing to go the extra mile for the risk/reward ratio of the game, which is higher than, say, "Jeopardy!"

Keep the money coming? I can see how that confirms what Jackie said, but I'm not if that meshes with what you said. Are you supposed to bring your personality to be a good straight man or are you supposed to be a trivia game contestant?

Cedric doesn't make me laugh. My view is in opposition to the company line (nothing new there), but as I see it, the contestant are trying to play the game and Cedric constantly interrupts their performance with inane, stupid distractions.

That, in my opinion, is the definition of a heckler.

I agree. That is why "It's worth what?" isn't still on. I don't think BAM has the same status with Cedric's humor.
