How does today compare to the time we were visited by the guy with the sparkly web site?

I feel like I've taken a nice, substantial, solid dump. Unfortunately, he was so goofy I couldn't get appropriately ticked off enough. If he'd continued in his myth vein I mighta could have whomped him upside the head with a smiley.
Well, then

I do not recall him - musta been one of those times I missed all the good stuff. They seemed to happen often while I was in Florida or out west.

Too bad--that was a memorable day for the Bored!

And it started by answering a simple question from a newbie that quickly turned out to be something different. Like when George Bailey shakes Mr. Potter's hand after he's given that surprise job offer.

I love ones that start that way. We circle the wagons real fast when that happens.

People have no clue what hit them.

I can imagine this guy sitting around his one-bedroom apartment in the attic of mom and dad's place thinking,

"What controversial, completely outlandish statement can I make and write about that will get the media's attention and make me some serious coin?? Blacks lack the intelligence of whites? The Holocaust never really happened? Naahh. Those two have already been done. Ooohh.. I know! That men are smarter than women but that the liberal news media and Oprah have been running a smear campaign against men for years and now the vast majority of Americans have been blinded by their rhetoric! Yeah! I'll blow the top off this one! And I'll use trivia to prove my point!! Woohoo!! I'm about to be R-I-C-H!!!!"

OK, BB, you gotta spill where you're getting those moving little thingies. Of course, elephants are not high on my list, but I would like to look for other stuff. You know where to find me.

Nah, he was slimy.

And he offended me in an on-topic way. :P

I agree - and I find it interesting that the women found more enjoyment in the thread than the men (if you and I are representative samples).

I am sorry I missed this whole exchange, but darned proud of the Bored family who so ably slapped the little twit upside the head.

Mwah to all y'all!

Ear, you misquoted me. Although he WAS slimy, actually Marley said that.

I get confused with all the quotes within quotes. I thought I had Marley saying something, quoting you, then his comments outside your quote box in his quote box. <sigh>

I can't stand those unctuous schmoozers who make sure to use your name when they are talking to you. So he put me off after about 3 posts, and I stayed away.

I miss all the fun. Darn the luck...

Well minimetoo, you should really not be so judgemental of people before you hear what they have to say.

I see what you are saying, minimetoo. It is so annoying when others use your name too much in a response. I am sure you will agree, minimetoo.

And, minimetoo, have a great day.
