Christie, that is gorgeous! I cannot imagine how much time that must have required. Only a quilter would have the patience and skill to do it!

I don't know about the contest, but good luck. I hope the top prize is wonderful, because that's what you deserve.

If there's any justice, you should win in a walk. That's one of the most gorgeous pumpkin carvings I've ever seen.

Do you take the innards and turn them into pie?

Tried to add a picture, but couldn't.

It doesn't come out as good as a picture inthe dark anyway.

Oh well. I t is pretty in person.

Gee, Christie

I am astounded.

I have no idea how much time and patience that took.

Congratulations. I think you've already won.

VERY impressive! Keep it inside!

Rain Man worked for hours carving this masterpiece from a pattern. Mini-me carved a two-sided Jack-o-lantern. The squirrels have startes chewing on one face. :(

The neighborhood we lived in before the fire was known as being an area where any pumpkins left outside would be taken by teenagers and smashed on the street.

We moved from a neighborhood like that to one where the wildlife will take anything edible, including the drip pans on your grill.

It took four teenagers to move our last pumpkin from our old house to the street to smash it. The neighbors saw them running away. My kids liked big pumpkins...

To the left, I have posted another photograph of a beautimus punkin.

That's my opinion, anyway.

Tied for 4th!

Wow, a little dissappointing folks!

But seriously, it seems like voting went along department lines. It is a shame we couldn't have had a little cyber ballot box stuffing by the BB's. :P

But I had fun and like my pumpkin alot!

I have to work on the baby quilt I have in progress so I can change my avatar again. Maybe I will leave this one until Halloween.

4th?

4th!?!?

Your company must be filled with folks named DaVinci, Rembrandt and Picasso or something.

Any chance of seeing a picture of the winner?

What does a baby quilt become when it grows up?

I think voting went along department lines. I am in a relatively small department. At first they said that we would be given numbers but then they had us put our names in front of them.

Probably not. It had a section of the company logo on it. Plus they are all back with the owners.
