Me 'n BeBe dressed up for Halloween

#1 Post by Lizbit » Sun Nov 01, 2015 8:45 pm

Usually, BeBe goes as a ninja, and I go as a soldierdog. This year we had fancy dressy collar thingies around our necks. BeBe wore a neckpiece that was different shades of pink cut into triangles with little bells on the points. She looked like a girlie-girl court jester. I had a red, white and blue collar with lots of filmy floating parts, plus hanging shiny stars and ribbons. I was Miss America.

Some two-footers (like Mr. little and Miss sprots) might think we got them backwards, because I am more of a jokie girl in real life, while BeBe is tall and thin like a beauty queen. We talked it over, though, and decided that a costume should let us pretend to be something different than our everyday lives. That's why we wore the ones we wore, and we had a good time and ate cookies.

When Annie was here, she wore her pumpkin suit every single Halloween. She loved her pumpkin suit, probably because she didn't look a thing like a pumpkin without it.

It's so hard for those Miss America judges to not be tempted by wet kisses...

Jessie dressed up this year for the first time. Unfortunately, she lost an eye a month ago. So she made the best of it and went as a pirate.

Darling Lizzie -- You are right, I was confused and had to double check who the poster was. I congratulate you on finding the essence of costuming. Also congratulations on scoring extra cookies!

Mr. jarnon, I am very sorry to hear about Jessie's eye, but she is an especially pretty dog, eyepatch and all. In fact, I would be tempted to say that she's even prettier than BeBe, except that my sis is kind of vain and has very big teeth, if you get my drift. Jessie can wear the Miss America collar any time.

Oh, Lizbit, that's sounds so wonderful.

My doggie frien across the street, Woo-Woo, wore a pretty scarf around his neck. My Pretty Lady told me it was printed with Hershey Bars.

He wore it for his frien, Hershey, who lived with him until he went to the Rainbow Bridge.

And Muggsy Next Door had a pretty orange scarf. She is black-and-white and she looked AM-HAZ-ing.

I did not see Emma Next Door, who lives in the other Next Door. She went out with her baby, who was a pickle.
