Carole,

I loved watching you run. You do not need to defend yourself or your enthusiasm or your way of being in the hot seat. It was and is your time. You get to do it your way and you did!

Funny - I didn't know your 50K and would have eliminated Hoyle, because it was too much like the card guy!

Great job - keep on blogging - keep on making a difference.

Yeah, but the French were in well with wintergreen's favorite tsars...
Certainly, MBFFB knows that Stoeckl was the offspring of Andreas von Stoeckl, Austrian diplomat in Istanbul, and Maria Pisani, daughter of Nicolas Pisani, Russian dragoman in Istanbul.

While he was not French, he did move to Paris with his American heiress wife after the sale of Alaska.
If he certainly did know, why say it?
Do you truly not get it or can't you resist an opportunity to give Appa23 another smackdown?

Since MBFFB is a satirical know-it-all, it is further satirical humor to point out any "mistakes" MBFFB makes, also in a know-it-all style.

Turn about is fair play, and all that...

And since MBFFB is a Merry Man who does not speak for the man behind the curtain, no harm, no foul.

My get is a different get than yours, I suspect.

Aaargh! It didn't air here in Los Angeles (or if it did, my TiVo was unaware of the fact). Will TKO be working his magic? --Bob

Carole is leaning toward one. Meredith asks if it’s based on the same rationale as before. Carole says it’s not the one she likes more and thinks she has a “body memory” of one of the names. She starts to give an answer and then decides to take the money. Meredith asks her which one she was leaning toward. Carole says, “Vitorino”.
I'm completely ashamed to say that I knew this one. Don't hate me. I went to a lot of weddings while that song was a hit and many of the vapid lyrics got permanently embedded in my brain.

Congrats, Carole!
