Perhaps this should be an offical bored holiday

#1 Post by themanintheseersuckersuit » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:40 am

After all its 411, and we're all about information.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

The important question is, will Ben and Jerry's make a special ice cream for our holiday?

It would have to have vanilla for the MAWGs and of course lots of nuts and maybe some crumbles for grumbles.

Raspberry Grumble

vanilla and raspberry, with waffle cone crumbles, nuts and pretzels, and some honey

I'm the first to admit to being twisted. It's part of my charm. ;)

So if you and Jeff are absinthe drinkers, do you have the special glasses and spoons for the whole ritual?

I know that we have the spoons, but I believe that Jeff uses wine glasses to drink his Absinthe. I don't like the way that it tastes, so I don't drink it regularly.
