Okay.

As long as you're not trading on any inside information!

I think that inside information would be talking about game play or who the host is.

By the way, if there is a writers strike, game shows are going to be all over network tv.

I just meant inside information regarding your guess about CrypticMessageMaker's identity. It did sound mighty specific...

Maybe if the APs support the strike, some of us demographically undesirables might get a chance. :|

I would be happy if just one of them decided that Foat Wuth is a prime location for potential contestants.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

I would just be guessing though.
I would be betting that you're a very good guesser.

The hair is working out well today. It's a good omen.

It is one of the triple threat. If my hair looks good, my face looks good and my butt looks good - there will be great things happening.

At my age, all three happen on the same day very rarely.

Actually, somebody was playing in the spirit of the Cryptic one, and posting in code. :D

$50 a head is standard.
Since when? I've auditioned for lots of game shows and I've never been paid for my trouble.

I was hoping that we might get a cryptic hint about how everything went today. Of course, in Cryptifornia, any given family who went out to dinner after a long day might not yet be back.

Things went well, the kids were happy to earn $50 each. We went out to dinner afterwards then to Maddie's Comedy Sportz match.

At the match, they asked for made up titles for a horror movie, so I threw out "George Bush is Our President." Maddie said that I narrowly missed getting a brown bag on my face.

We all just got back, since we had other activities to do:
1) Dinner
2) Comedy Sportz. High school students competing in comedy improv. I wasn't expecting much, but it was easily comparable to "Who's Line is it Anyway?" on TV. Well worth the admission price.

Without giving anything away about our trip to LA today, it was a "run-through" and not an audition per se.

The game is pretty well constructed. After seeing how they plan to do it, I would definitely want to play for reals.

Comedy Sporz matches are supposed to be clean.

One of the participants made a borderline racist comment that offended many people and a bag was placed on his head and his team lost 5 points.

Some people (as Maddie said, 28% of the population still approves of George Bush) might have been offended by my comment, so it was possible that I might have got the bag. I think that the ref agreed with me, so he didn't do it.
