Is It Wrong . . .

. . . to keep knocking the legs out from a 7 1/2 month old baby?

She has been standing with furniture for a few weeks, and occasionally standing by herself for a few seconds.

She started crawling around 7 months, and really has gotten the hang of it. However, it clearly is not fast enough for her. So, she is looking to furniture cruise.

We really were looking for a bit longer of a time with a stationary baby.

Taking a brag about your baby and presenting it like a whine--good job!

Give her a soccer ball and see if she's ready to re-enact those commercials they made about the champion U.S. woman's team, a few years ago. :)

Hah! Lots of luck. My grandson is walking at nine months. Little darling, I was changing him this morning; as soon as I slipped his diaper off, he flipped over and took off. I called him back, he walked over to me, put a hand on each side of my head, looked me right in the eyes with a big grin, and peed all over my ready-for-work self.

I am a little surprised the older siblings aren't keeping your youngest from walking, simply by carrying her everywhere and/or knockiing her down. That's how my first two handled their youngest brother.

Actually, I am pretty sure that they are the reason why Princess Pudding Pop wants to walk. She doesn't want to get left behind. It clearly was the reason why Princess Peanut walked at nine moths, in order to keep up with her 2 1/2 year old brother.

The older two are not allowed to carry her, because of their respective sizes. (Though the sight of 40 inch PP holding nearly 30 inch PPP, when we are nearby, is hilarious.)

Plus, the Boy will never knock down his sister, not with it being his "fault" that she's in our family.

Hoping that you were changing diapers on teh floor, and not a changing table. (Albeit the latter would be an impressive feat by your grandson.)

Thankfully, I only got "hit" once by The Boy, right after his belated snip, when he was not yet used to the tickling breeze.

Yes it is!

My great-grandson is doing that at 5 months.

My baby sister Lizbit could walk when she was three days old. I didn't even have to teach her.

She still can't read, though.

You're getting off easy.

The son of friends of ours was climbing out of his crib at 6 months.

Happy motoring.

And they were wearing spats and carrying canes. Woke the labor nurses up like you wouldn't believe.

Seems like kids do things a lot earlier these days and my "baby" is 25! He could crawl anywhere at 4 months and pretty much running around by 9 months.

Looks like you're in for the same fortune.

Made me laugh as well - marley doing a tiny smack down.

It doesn't get much better than that!

HoltDad,

Adorable baby. I am shocked she is 7 1/2 months old. Time is going by so fast.

Do you usually dress all three alike?

When Chuck Norris was born the doctor slapped him on the tush and Chuck Norris body-slammed the doctor.

Hey, everyone here is entitled to brag about their kids (I'd brag about MarleysNephew more, but second-hand brags aren't quite the same.)

But we can have some fun with it, too. :)

BTW, Appa23, very nice group photo as your new avatar! Your son looks very intellectual with his new glasses. When did he get those?

I never said anything about being entitled to brag or not!

Where'd you get that from?

and

glasses making someone look intelligent is a stereotype.

As a member of the glasses-wearing nerd community, I claim the "we can make fun of ourselves" exemption to the charge of stereotyping humor. 8)

Not that I'm implying that Jack is a nerd. He's a well-rounded student athlete, by all account.

That makes no sense.
