Fuschia Team name?
We have an off-site team building event coming up and I have been assigned to the Fuschia team. (Oh and I am prety sure it isn't like the one described in another thread )
We need to come up with a name and a cheer.
All thoughts are welcome since you guys are so good at this stuff.

Yeah I saw that I was trying to figure out how to use it as spanking the competition.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I was looking at the wikipedia entry for the word "fuchsia" and found out an interesting fact.
In the handkerchief code of the gay leather subculture, wearing a fuchsia bandana means one has a fetish of spanking.

I guess this means I need to stop carrying my fuscia handkerchief - don't want to give anyone the wrong idea.christie1111 wrote:Yeah I saw that I was trying to figure out how to use it as spanking the competition.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I was looking at the wikipedia entry for the word "fuchsia" and found out an interesting fact.

Grats, christie, and to pea(?) who inspired the team name and cheer.christie1111 wrote:Thank you SOOOOOO much for suggesting this. This team cheer with the wave we performed won us the Team Spirit Award!gsabc wrote:"We are the wave of the fushcia."
I think in these types of competitions, this kind of win is really good.

Only frustating part was a trivia contest with incorrect answers and a team leader who didn't get ours in on time to be graded.

The word "fuschia" always calls to mind a Feghoot (science fiction-y short story about Ferdinand Feghoot, which always ends in an atrocious pun) about a planet inhabited by intelligent plant life. Short version: A young orphan plant, child of a chrysanthemum and a fuschia, leads a rebel group to take over the government. Feghoot, brought in to forestall the rebellion, just shakes his head sadly. "Can't be done," he says. "You cannot defeat the waif of the fuschia."
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
