Erin says the name makes it feel as if it's Delaware, so she might go with Dover. "Let's just do it," she says, and makes it her final answer. Another show ending without a carry-over means there's another chance Monday might be sunflower's episode.

I'll be the first know, probably. I think 15Qaway said there is a guest host starting tomorrow so I'm not so sure we'll be seeing her on this week or not.

Of course, I could be wrong about that.

Hey, that's nitrah's line!

Should we take guesses about the identity of the mystery host? How many other celebrities from the Today Show are there?

My guess is Kathy Lee Gifford, in which case I am tuned to anything else, as is the case with the last hour of the Today Show.

Maybe popular, but not with me. I must not watch those shows. ATA.

$16K - What U.S. state capital is located on the Delmarva Peninsula?

A - Dover
B - Trenton
C - Richmond
D - Raleigh

Okay, how much would I have panicked here without puzzling it out? Never heard of the peninsula, but Delmarva must come from Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. That takes out Raleigh and Trenton. I could be wrong, but I don't think Richmond is on any sort of peninsula.

In reality, I probably would have used my Googling PAF on this and spelled out Delmarva for them. Google brings up the Wikipedia article with a map showing Dover.

No problems with the others, so likely looking at $50K with 50/50 and STQ.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I picked up on the Del but not on the Mar or Va so I would have gotten the correct answer while not completely seeing the whole picture.

I would have ATA the AAA question and I would PAF the $25K.

Nihil obstat®

I don't know how I knew the $25K question (I had never seen that movie), but I got that immediately.

I like a no-nonsense contestant.

I presume that the recommendation is to check for tread wear and proper inflation.

Listening to Erin describe Ian as a "boy friend" I couldn't tell whether she was speaking about a male friend or someone with whom she was in a relationship. In any event her description of him as a "genius" seems a bit dubious. Good for her for going with her instinct.

I would have been torn between B and C, so time to pull out the 50/50 and hope those aren't the remaining two.

A rather testy WGAS 8K question followed by a gimmie at 16K except that it is that nasty old geography that most people seem to know nothing about. At least the 25K, while tough, was a reasonable trivia Q unlike the Duel worthy 8K Q.
