20K: I am even having trouble w/ what role Foster & Moore both played.

W/ Mirren & Dench its Queen? but diff queens; does that count?, Brando & De Niro Godfather, Nicholson & Ledger Joker. Foster won for Silence of the Lambs & the one about the rape victim accused of "deserving it" by lifestyle/style of dress. Moore didn't win for similar role, don't think.

Equal trouble w/ what movie each in pair won their Oscar for.

Leaning heavily toward Brando, who I know won for Gfather, & De Niro, who I know at least played GF in prequel, but would blow at least 50/50 on this.

Same roles, I think:

A: Helen Mirren & Judi Dench:
Spoiler
Queen Elizabeth I (Elizabeth I (a TV miniseries)/Shakespeare in Love), Dench won for this role, Mirren won for playing Elizabeth II in The Queen.
B: Jodie Foster & Julianne Moore:
Spoiler
Clarice Starling (Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal), Foster won, Moore was not nominated for the Oscar
C: Marlon Brando & Robert DeNiro :
Spoiler
Don Corleone (The Godfather/The Godfather: Part II) both won
D: Jack Nicholson & Heath Ledger:
Spoiler
The Joker (Batman/Dark Knight), Ledger won, Nicholson was not nominated
No matter where you go, there you are.

I only remembered after it percolated through my very heartsick brain this morning that Moore played Clarice in the Lambs sequel. I knew she didn't win Oscar for it.

They don't give you percolation time on show.
