Words have consequences (political)

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Tue Jan 17, 2017 3:13 pm

I was wondering when this would happen.

One of the women that Donald groped is suing him for defamation because he called her a liar. This will put before a jury the issue of whether Donald did or did not grope her. I expect the discovery process also will get into whether he did or did not grope the other women who have publicly accused him of having done so. --Bob

Perhaps we'll get some actual evidence for a trump accusation, instead of more allegations. By the latest count: Allegations-309,192 Evidence- 0.
But I don't know how you go about proving this. Does groping leave evidence on a blue dress?

One reason we haven't gotten any "evidence" from some of these women is the existence of non-disclosure agreements.

Robert Mueller is going to be making the first few cracks in the dam pretty soon, and then you'll see a flood of evidence about Trump and his pals.

My favorite part of all this is that Trump is living rent-free in your heads.

One might say that "Immigration is living in my head." Point taken

I am going to go with an Eleanor Roosevelt quote:

Small Minds Discuss People"

I'm not talking about the sex allegations. At one time, the press would have ignored it. That was before the MSM became tabloid media. And anyway, unlike JFK and Clinton, all these allegations are all before he even declared for President. Unless he killed somebody (like JFK's brother did) it doesn't matter to me even if it's true. I thought your side was perfectly OK about lying about your sex life. Personally, I'm not shocked by this kind of behavior by celebrities anymore. I'm talking about the thousands of accusations of wrong-doing hurled at him. One piece of hard evidence please.

NDAs don't keep you from giving evidence in a criminal case.

Or a civil case. You just need to wait to be subpoenaed for deposition. --Bob
