1K: I may have gone out on this, thinking it was an ad for benchpress, not believing there was anything so stupid as hydraulic press show.

5K: And I might have gone out on this, thinking 5 years. 50/50

Both contestants today used other lifelines on questions the audience would have known, and gave the wrong answer. Jay may have been wary of ATA after he was Dursted in his original appearance.

Yet believing that someone can generate 100 tons of force with a bench press?

5 years amounts to an average of 1.1 ounce of trash produced per day.

No, Estonut, I would have been believing the opening sequence advertised "show of power", not anything literal. And as stupid as a show for watching machines break & dig stuff.

I really don't care for special events like this one.

So he did no better than his first appearance - he didn't even get as far. I would guess that the 50:50 would have left A and B. McConnell is from Kentucky, Hatch is from Utah, Durban is from Illinois, and Reid is from Nevada.

Melbourne is delightful. But so is Sidney. So is Cairns. So is Canberra. So is the outback. So is the Great Barrier Reef. I love Australia. If it weren't for that miserable plane ride, I would have returned to see the Central and Western parts.
