Coming back because I had to do this one. It's such a long and such a great title.

"[Drumpf's] name alone creates division and anger, whose words inspire dissension and hatred, and can't possibly 'Make America Great Again.'" --Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)

I don't play these lyrics games since I'm terrible at them, but I wanted to let everyone know my new game is ready to go. If this one wraps up soon, I'll post mine next week.

58. Black Eyed Peas = The Time (87. DIRTY + 24. BIT)

90. Motley Crue = Don't Go Away Mad (13. JUST + 45. GO AWAY)

If we take out the extra Aretha song, I think that we have seven to go. I'm guessing that "Natural Woman" was Frank's intended match, as it's one of Aretha's signature songs.

79. Al Green = Here I Am (11. COME AND + 57. TAKE ME)

BTW, that made me notice Phil Collins has a song only he's known for in this game.... so he doesn't match with "Groovy Kind of Love", but with "Take Me Home"...

Bonus note... this song was covered by UB-40, who's also in the game. I'm guessing the intended match was to Al Green, though....

99. REM = It's the End of the World As We Know it (37. And I + 76. FEEL + 10. FINE)

This seems to be the kiss of death for "Natural Woman" as the unintended Aretha Franklin match....

lb13

Edited to add: The article "A" is part of the main title "A Natural Woman", not the parenthetical (You Make Me Feel Like)... and since the word "Like" alone appears in several songs, it was an invalid match to begin with...

Not sure if the early Stones hits are fair play, but this one works:

28. Rolling Stones = Tell Me (55. YOU'RE + 72. COMING + 60. BACK)
"[Drumpf's] name alone creates division and anger, whose words inspire dissension and hatred, and can't possibly 'Make America Great Again.'" --Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)

Not surprising, considering that we're at the point of scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Now this one might be intentional:

59. Beach Boys = When I Grow Up (79. TO BE + 5. A MAN)

I'm still trying to figure out the last matches.

Jimmy Soul didn't really have another hit, so some words in "If You Wanna Be Happy" have to be used in somebody else's parenthetical title.

There are only two left, and I don't think it will hurt anything if SSS wants to get his game started while we wait to see if somebody can finish off this one.

Neither of the two remaining songs is particularly obscure. Both, by the way, are from the 1960s and you'll find the artists among those records that have already been used for their titles.

I got careless and used a title that has a "the" in it when I shouldn't have. So ignore the 'the' in one of the unused titles.

I don't have an updated consolidation to look at, but how about this for the last match?

77. Dionne Warwick = You'll Never Get To Heaven (16. If You + 41. Break + 58. My Heart)

Awesome! Thanks for the game! As BiT mentioned, I don't get to actually play LS very often, so I always enjoy the chance to show how much I suck at the game!
