I hope Rashad Jennings has better moves on the dance floor than he displayed on the gridiron for the Giants last season or his stay on the show will be very shortlived.

I see the show has raised the bar to the D List this year.

I don't watch and don't care, but I'll bet Charo does very well.

I agree. She has more talent than the bimbo routine suggests.

She'll be 66 in a couple of weeks. I hope her partner is better than her plastic surgeon.

As a former bareback rider, I am glad to see the sport represented on DWTS. He will probably be a small guy if he follows the bull rider formula. Good luck to him.

He's 5'11" and solid, so he's not exactly tiny. He fell on his head and broke his neck a while back.

Most people who watch the show don't know who she is. Do you think all the football players have won because they were the most talented dancers?

Oh, so the audience votes for the winner? :(

No one seems to know, except the ghost of Xavier Cugat:
Charo's year of birth has been the subject of dispute for many years. Official documents in Charo's birthplace of Murcia, her original Spanish passport, and her naturalization papers state that her birth date is January 15, 1941. After immigrating to the United States, Charo claimed that she was born in 1947, then changed it to 1949. She asserted in a 1977 court hearing that her passport and naturalization papers were wrong and that her true year of birth was 1951.

Heather Morris does not have the popularity right now to win a popular vote, but she likely will be a fantastic contestant. She also was a contestant on SYTYCD, as I recall, and performed everything from ballroom to hip hop on Glee.

About the only Glee actor that would have been a more "unfair" contestant would be Harry Shum ("Mike Chang").

Cloris Leachman was 82 when she was on DWTS a few years ago. Most viewers then probably didn't know who she was, either. Nonetheless, she held her own and survived halfway through the competition. Charo is six years younger than Cloris was during her appearances, and Charo actually has a career as a dancer (among other talents), so she could go deep into the competition. I don't watch the show, either, but I wish her luck.

Heather Morris or Simone Biles will win.

I don't seek out female dancers in any context, but could never take my eyes of Heather Morris on Glee. She is as much a ringer as they have ever had (if they are trying to say they are using people who have not danced professionally), which I don't care about but it is a true thing.
