RIP Robert Osborne

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Mon Mar 06, 2017 2:08 pm

Long time host on Turner Classic Movies and film historian. He was a truly class act, more interested in the movies than merely engaging in celebrity gossip.

Age 84.

I've always liked him better than Ben Mankiewicz. TCM just won't be the same without Robert.

The end. :(

I really liked him for all the reasons reporters have been putting into news reports about his death.

I really like Manckiewicz too, though. I hope he lasts as long as Osborne did.

-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller
