The answer to each of these clues is also the nickname of a major league baseball team. One point for each, and there is a Two-Point Conversion.

1. Some of them rob ships and some of them make illegal copies of movies.

2. They will select the next Pope.

3. Cyanocitta cristata

4. This song hit number one in 2013.

5. In geometry, lines which have an endpoint at one end and go infinitely in the other direction.

6. 1988 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

7. 1981 Warren Beatty movie.

8. Brand of cigar whose name appears in the painting Nighthawks.

Two-Point Conversion: Which two of the teams whose nicknames are answers in this game have played each other in a World Series in this century?

1. Some of them rob ships and some of them make illegal copies of movies. - Pirates

2. They will select the next Pope. - Cardinals

3. Cyanocitta cristata - Diamondbacks?

4. This song hit number one in 2013. - Royals

5. In geometry, lines which have an endpoint at one end and go infinitely in the other direction. - Rays

6. 1988 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. - Twins

7. 1981 Warren Beatty movie. - Reds

8. Brand of cigar whose name appears in the painting Nighthawks. - Giants?

Two-Point Conversion: Which two of the teams whose nicknames are answers in this game have played each other in a World Series in this century?

Of the six I know for sure, only three have played in a WS this century. The Rays played the Phillies, which doesn't seem to be a plausible answer to any of the unknowns. The Royals played the Giants and Mets (Mets seems illogical). And the Cardinals played the Tigers, Rangers and Red Sox (Sox can't be right). So I kinda got a 1 in 2 chance of getting the right matchup unless BOTH 2 and 8 happen to be the WS matchup, in which case I'm screwed. I'll say Royals-Giants

I literally had to run through all the team names in my head before I hit on one that vaguely reminded me of a song. I can hear the chorus with the key word in my head but that's all from song.

I have to admit I only know it through being a Weird Al fan and Foil was featured on his last album and I looked it up from that.
