Zac Efron will play Ted Bundy in an upcoming movie, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. This is a terrific career move on his part as it gives him a chance to break out of his rut of playing dumb himbos in dumb comedies in which he takes his shirt off a lot. He's also a good physical match to Bundy (a younger Mark Harmon played Bundy in a TV miniseries years ago). I'm not sure how much acting range Efron has, and if this goes south the movie could turn into a joke, but it's an interesting prospect.
