20K: No idea. 50/50 to see if 6 miles still there. Those people in lawn furniture w/ balloons attached went pretty far (not that far).

30K: Has to be D by elimination, 'cause others are what they are & D are not fish.

You've never watched a balloon release? I remember watching Disneyland launch over a million balloons for Walt's birthday/their 30th anniversary in the mid-80's. They all went well over 600 feet.

The first guy to do that used weather balloons, which are way more durable than party balloons. He got almost 3 miles up.

Estonut: No, I've never been at a balloon release. I guess I just haven't lived.

I *have* seen passenger balloons in the air, & would like to ride in one one day, but those have other stuff controlling them (like hot air, sandbags).
