A. In the hospital
B. During a football game
C. On an African safari
D. At a Greek restaurant

This is the fancy word for something that is left inside of you after a surgery, such as a sponge or a scalpel.

3. Which two-letter word, much beloved by Scrabble players, describes an old Vietnamese coin?
A. Jo
B. Qi
C. Xu
D. Za

Just like the U.S. and Canadian dollars are divided into 100 cents, the Vietnamese dong was once divided into 100 xu. Due to inflation, xu were discontinued shortly after the reunification of North and South Vietnam.

4. Who was elected the first female board member at MGM Studios?
A. Dinah Shore
B. Debbie Reynolds
C. Geraldine Ferraro
D. Ava Gardner

She got that job in 1984.

5. Which of these foods was infamously mentioned in the 2004 sexual harassment lawsuit against former TV host Bill O'Reilly?
A. Spotted dick
B. Moussaka
C. Poutine
D. Falafel

Although I've had Billo's phone sex transcripts committed to memory for the past 13 years, I'm not going to repeat them here.

I hope I don't have to explain why, but "spotted dick" was sponsored by Nixon Condoms.

6. Emmy-winning child star Kristy McNichol played Buddy Lawrence on the 1970s ABC drama "Family"... but what was Buddy's real first name?

A. Nashville, TN
B. Boston, MA
C. Jacksonville, FL
D. Pittsburgh, PA

It actually went on the air as WDTV in 1949, but adopted the KDKA brand in 1955 to honor a local radio station.

9. During which month does St. Swithun's Day occur?
A. March
B. July
C. September
D. December

July 15, to be exact.

BONUS: What kind of animal put Switzerland's Large Hadron Collider out of commission for several days in April 2016?

A weasel. Specifically, a stone marten.

One jumped into the LHC substation and chewed through a wire carrying between 18,000-66,000 volts of electricity. It short-circuited the facility and instantly killed itself.
