Wolf Creek Pass . . .

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 5:05 pm

. . . way up on the Great Divide,
Truckin on down the other side. . .

Those runaway truck ramps are one of the best thing Colorado Dept. of Highways ever did. I didn't see this one in person but have seen various items strewn about the highway and on the ramps by runaway trucks.

This one was beer and energy drinks. Makes me wish CW McCall were still writing songs.

Good to see Joe Hazelwood is still among the workforce!

Are runaway truck ramps a Colorado innovation? I see them all around California. --Bob

Could be. I saw them in Colorado long before I saw them in California.

At least it wasn't 30,000 pounds of bananas.

It's ironic that Harry Chapin was killed by a Pathmark 18-wheeler on the L.I.E. (He may have had a heart attack first.)
